AND THEY SAY
Word & Music by Mick Arrow 1993.

And they say they weren´t buried here

Material life means eternal suffering
Trying to please myself and everyone
In a raging fire being put out with gasoline
Where Spirit comes and says: "You´re welcome if you want to"
And He says that "You can make it if you want to"
And I want to, and I really want to
And they say and they say

And they say that I´m crying
And they say that I´m crawling
And they say and they say
And they say that I´m flying away and I´m dying
But I say that I´m trying, at least that I´m trying

And that´s the way the demons keep addressing me
No trace of interest in Spirit anywhere
It´s hard to keep a standard when in such surroundings
It´s hard to make the choice and leave them all behind
Instead I´m trying my best to make them understand
And I want to, and I really want to

And they say that I´m crawling
And they say that I´m fallen
And they say and they say
And they say that I´m flying away and I´m dying
But I say that I´m trying, at least that I´m trying

This Spirit movement I have tried to make my home
Although I live alone I seek its company
There was a time when I´d advanced to some degree
But then I fell down and they all rejected me
But now I´m back and now I´ve understood again
And I want to, and I really want to!

When all the fallen lose control
And become inflatable
They say they weren´t buried here

And they say they weren´t buried here
We let the weirdness in
