THE EMPTY PALACE
(Words & Music by Arrow 1987)

This mirror has always been there
It has followed and seen him
Where the outside world was blind
Find the man inside its memory
And yet it keeps its secrets
The apartment gets bigger every day
As his furniture gives place for an expanding mind
Imploding if not exorcised by material spirits
Or his sanity beheaded by the sight of long gone dreams
The mirror watches day after day
It sees the man in chaos, wild eyed and climbing the walls
I havenīt mentioned the screaming!
We guess heīs looking for a home
That is where one is at home
However stupid that may seem
We wish he was just anyone
However stupid that may be
